Barbecue Sheek Kebabs

If you like Indian food here is a wonderful Sheek Kebab recipe, ideal for the barbecue. Simple and original, this recipe created by my brother, has only four stages of preparation. Why not give it a try and if you like the Kebabs, share the mind map recipe with others.

Here is the Barbecue Sheek Kebab recipe in text:

1. PUREE in a blender:
5 Cloves of Garlic
1 Onion
2 Green Finger Chilli’s
Same quantity of fresh Ginger as Garlic
(Use 33% of the puree in part 3 and freeze the rest)

2. PREPARE Lamb mince:
0.500 kg of Lamb mince (serves 8 Kebabs)
Fork flat and squash onto foil or greaseproof paper to height of 3 to 5 millimetres

3. SMEAR 33% of puree onto the mince (freeze the rest):
Then add generous sprinkle of:
Cumin seeds
Paprika
Garam Masala
Turmeric
Dried coriander leaf
Chilli powder (optional)
Season with Salt and Black pepper

4. MIX:
Roll the mince and fork flat three times, then form 8 sausage shaped Kebabs

5. COOK and eat:
Suggested serving of 2 Kebabs each – you can also wrap raw prepared Kebabs in foil, place in a freezer bag and freeze for later use
