Floating Lines or Threaded Cord Mind Map

Here is a Mind Map for a bit of fun….

Revisiting an old illusion – the cube - this one has an added twist; some threaded cords.

If you imagine the darker blue to be the floor with two lighter blue walls behind it the top two branches sit on top of the walls.

If you imagine the darker blue to be a solid wall in front of you, the branches appear to thread through the cube and come out the other side.

What do you see – floating lines or threaded cord?

    Although I can force myself to see a room, it naturally appears to me as a cube because of the shadow beneath it…and because if it were a room, the branches would be coming out at implausible angles of perspective.

    Thanks for your comments Jeff,

    I see what you are saying – if you place a finger over the shadow it is easier to imagine the darker blue area as the floor :)
