The Rabbit on the Roundabout
I saw a rabbit on a roundabout!
What an awesome sight. How did the rabbit travel across a fast section of roads from nearby fields? At night? During the day? In fog? When the traffic was non-existent? Incredible!
Does the rabbit “know” it is on a roundabout? Is it aware of the journey it took to get there? Does it remember the fields exist? Does it think the roundabout is the world and that nothing exists outside of the immediate boundaries? Does it hope or plan to make the journey back one day?
Isn’t this a lot like life and thoughts and views and worldviews and opinions and beliefs?
Outside of the boundaries much more exists. It often exists within reach yet perhaps out of thought as much as out of sight.
What boundaries do you think limit you?
Are the boundaries just thoughts?
